Uh oh. Tough week.

By November 30, 201214 Comments

Sunday, Star presentation in Atlanta
Monday, another in Georgia
Tuesday, 4-hour lecture to Halliburton execs
Wednesday, Star Presentation in Richmond
Thursday, breathe?
Friday, Star presentation in Houston
Next week, San Jose, and on it goes…

A difficult joy! My pain is amplified by negotiating airports, security checks, folding into airplane seats (I’m 6’6’’), doing presentations, sleeping in hotels (6’6’’), standing for long lectures, etc.

If you have time, will you pray with me?

“Father, doesn’t matter how tall Jesus was. We know he walked tens of miles in a day. We know He taught thousands until all were hungry. We know He led others until he sought solitude. We know He fought to fulfill His purpose. And we know that He endured pain we dare not imagine. He did it with grace. He did it for us. Lord, help us bear our infirmities and challenges as did Lord Jesus. Help us push forward, relentless in tasks you give. Help us press through whatever the obstacle, always serving others, always calling to you as we go! We ask these things in Jesus’ name, amen!”

  • We’ll pray for endurance for you this coming week! We feel blessed that the DVD has come our way at The United Church. Tomorrow we are starting an Advent class for adults featuring the DVD and other info from your website…we can’t wait to get started. We’ve made a worksheet and outline for our discussion time. Many of us have already watched the DVD multiple times, as it takes a few times to absorb it all. Thanks too for the Bonus materials; The Ram presentation was better than “icing-on-the-cake!” Come to western NY area sometime!

I pray that the annointing (1 john 2:20,27, Acts 10:38) of Jesus in it’s fullness, the Spirit of the Lord would empower you to accomplish your mandate. Isaiah 11:2
And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him,
the Spirit of wisdom and understanding,
the Spirit of counsel and might,
the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord.

I pray that you and your family would walk in divine protection, provision and health and that EVERY tongue or weapon that rises against you would be completely powerless against all of you, weather they be people or powers (the accuser). You will conquer them by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.(Rev. 12:11)

    Psalms 31:19-20
Oh, how abundant is your goodness,
which you have stored up for those who fear you
and worked for those who take refuge in you,
in the sight of the children of mankind!
20 In the cover of your presence you hide them
    from the plots of men;
you store them in your shelter
    from the strife of tongues.

    Isaiah 54:13-14
All your children shall be taught by the Lord,
and great shall be the peace of your children.
    14 In righteousness you shall be established;
    you shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear;
and from terror, for it shall not come near you.
    Isaiah 54:17
no weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed,
and you shall refute every tongue that rises against you in judgment.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord
and their vindication from me, declares the Lord.”

Thank you for your patient endurance and faithfulness to the Lord. Remember God has blessed you with the blessing of Abraham. (in Jesus you lack no good thing )

I can relate. I only stand about 6″8″ sardine cans ( I mean airplanes) can really do a number on comfort…

This is the second year I am teaching and showing your video on the star to our Sunday adult study group. I always get more whenever I see it and do the scripture research again, goose bumps and hairs because of the reality of our savior… this year we even adjusted our worship to accommodate more adults that labor in worship and other Sunday classes to be available to research together with your video. Keep up the labor, we are praying for your stamina as well. Matthew

I’m thrilled to tell you that we will be sharing your documentary in Dayton, OH at our parish. I just today found out that you were trying to get another documentary going. I suggest you put a link on http://www.bethlehemstarmovie.com/ site because that is the one we’ve checked over the years. Just discovered this site today. Our prayers are with you. What a God of surprises we have!! God bless you and all your work. May the Holy Angels assist you in all.

    Hello from Singapore Mr Larson!
I’m a professional speaker based in Singapore and I have the privilege to fly all around Asia to share on leadership development and change management or to deliver motivational speeches at large conventions. In these travels, I have the opportunity to reach out to churches and communities in those places that I visit. I would love to discuss a way in which I can deliver the lectures that you give over in the States to churches and communities here in Asia.
    Speak with you soon,
    Tim Wade

    • FA Larson says:

I am often asked if I will permit others to deliver my lecture. I always answer, “Of course I permit it! It’s not my star!”Unfortunately, I don’t have a means of training you. Of course, there is the website and the DVD. But, it’s really necessary for a presenter to deeply master the science and astronomy in order to be effective. You don’t want to get a question that you can’t answer, or don’t fully understand!

The most recent person to undertake this is Carl Unger. He can be reached at carlu1955@yahoo.com He would probably be delighted to hear from you, and might have some useful tips.

If I have time (!), I will be happy to help in any way that I can.

Dear Fred, I was listening to Chris Fabry’s program on Wednesday 12/12/12 and as he and his guests, (“the two Michaels”), were talking about the Christmas Star. I immediately thought of your video. At that moment a woman called in but could not remember your name or the title of your presentation, “The Star of Bethlehem”. Chris Fabry is on the afternoon segment on the Moody Radio Network. This might be a great opportunity. I know your schedule is hectic but he does have lots of phone interviews. Have a Blessed and Peaceful Christmas season. I will send him a note with the title also.

  • George Cheek says:

I just bought a pack to make this a part of our family Christmas tradition with 6 grand kids coming up under age of ten. If we show it for ten years, even the littlest one will have the basics down 🙂

  • Susan Long says:

    Dear Mr. Larson,
Thank you so much for your research and dedication to proclaiming the truth of Jesus Christ. I am working on a children’s story and would like to use your research on the Star. I don’t know if it will be good enough to publish, but am tired of not having truth presented in a way that children can grasp. Please let me know if it is ok to use your research or not. Thanks so much and you are in my prayers.
    Abiding iin Christ,
    Susan Long

  • Barbara Bilodeau says:

Thank you, Rick, for doing all you have to present the Star of Bethlehem and I thank and praise God of revealing truth to you. This past week I was a leader on a Winter Retreat to Blowing Rock, NC for a group of college students. We had planned to ski but there was no snow on the slopes. We hiked instead and I showed your video. Gasps of amazement, jaw dropping moments & goose bumps were experienced by all. What a great God we serve!! May God greatly bless you and increase your area of influence.
    Sharing the Word in Florida,
    Barbara

many of us dont want to see or know of the star, and you are doing a great justice to the will of God by bringing that very star into our lives. Thanks.
